Big Brothers Big Sisters is a fantastic program that partners high-risk kids with caring adults who mentor and support through active involvement in the kids’ lives. These role models are selfless and giving, and the kids benefit tremendously.

Your family can get involved in helping Big Brothers Big Sisters quite easily, and you’ll benefit the environment too.

 

This non-profit organization raises funds primarily through its household recycling program.

 

Wishes are granted based on referrals and physicians’ approval.
 

Gently used and reusable goods are sold to Savers stores. Call to schedule a pick up, and they come get everything from your front curb.

 

Your receipt is left for your tax records. The program also operates donation bins throughout the area.

You can call to find the one nearest you. Get the family together and go through all those toys no one plays with anymore. Gather up the clothes that have long been outgrown. Look for items throughout your home that you just don’t use anymore or that you’re going to replace. This simple act of recycling helps the environment and benefits kids who need help. Be a part of something big!
