 Guggenheim Museum

Opened in October 2001, the Guggenheim Hermitage Museum is the result of a partnership between the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York and the State Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg, Russia. This unprecedented collaboration enables the Guggenheim Hermitage Museum to present a broad spectrum of exhibitions drawn from the permanent collections around the world.

Located adjacent to the main lobby of the Venetian Resort-Hotel-Casino, the 7,600 square-foot museum was designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Rem Koolhaas.

The Guggenheim Hermitage Museum was conceived as a venue for the presentation of exhibitions based on the collections of the Guggenheim and Hermitage museums. All programming is generated by the directors and curatorial staffs of the Guggenheim and Hermitage museums. Exhibitions change approximately twice a year.
