The Sphere Section 300 Seating

The Sphere 300 View from Seats

So you're interesting in watching a Sphere show and sitting in Section 300? Awesome choice, pretty much any seat at Sphere offers amazing views, but there's something really special about 300 level seating, in fact, we think these are the best seats at The Sphere. We're not saying that there aren't some drawbacks, there definitely are, in fact there are pros and cons, but we think there are way more pros sitting in 300 level seats.

What to expect when sitting in The Sphere 300 section?

Whether you're seeing Postcard from Earth or a concert, Section 300 seats are actually a really good way to see any Sphere show. First, you'll get a really good view of the venue because. You'd think that 300 level, especially upper 300 level seats wouldn't be great for a concert because the stage would be as far away as can be, but believe it or not, the venue actually has good views from all sections, for concerts and for Postcard from Earth shows.

The view from 300 section seats

There's a minor of a difference in the view quality between upper and lower 300 level seats. If you sit in the lower level 300 seats your view for concerts will be marginally better than sitting in the upper level seats, but for Postcard from Earth shows, we'd recommend buying seats in the upper level. Similar to Section 400 seats, Upper level 300 seats will give you a far better, overall view of the show. Remember that Postcard from Earth is a fully immersive show that uses pretty much the entire Sphere ceiling, so by sitting further back in the theater, you'll have a broader, fuller view of the show. Plus upper level seats are cheaper!

  • Section 302, row 10
  • Section 306, row 11-16

Unlike Section 100, Section 300 won't hurt your neck

Common complaints are that sitting too close to the rectangular screen during Postcard from Earth puts your neck at a disadvantage because you're forced to look up and behind you in order to see the entire show. It's a fair point and it's one reason why we suggest that folks sit as far back as possible for Postcard from Earth--see why we think Section 400 seating is best for Sphere shows.

Section 300 for Postcard from Earth

Postcard from Earth is a fully immersive show that uses pretty much the entire Sphere ceiling, so by sitting further back in the theater, you'll have a broader, fuller view of the show. Plus upper level seats are cheaper! Lower level seats within Section 300 are fine, but we prefer being a bit higher up for this show.

Section 300 for The Eagles

These seats will mostly offer awesome views of The Eagles concert shows. The performance stage will still seem a bit small from Section 300 seats, certainly not comperable to Sections 100 and 200, but for the price savings you won't regret sitting here.
